ENA MSME 2018-11-22 10:54:34 <p><strong>New Delhi, Nov 22 (KNN)</strong> Federation of small and medium industries (FOSMI) is organizing an awareness program on government e-Marketplace (GeM), in association with micro small medium enterprises (MSME) and telecommunication department, government of West Bengal.</p> <p>FOSMI said it is very much imperative to create proper awareness about GeM.</p> <p>It added that for those who are specifically dealing with public sectors and government departments.</p> <p>Program will be held on 30th November 2018 at FOSMI office commencing from 4-00 p.m.</p> <p>In the recent past, the Government of India has launched GeM SPV which will create a one stop Government e-Marketplace (GeM).</p> <p>GeM was launched to facilitate online procurement of common use Goods and Services required by various Government Departments / Organizations / PSUs.</p> <p>Basically GeM is an online market platform to facilitate procurement of goods and services by various Ministries and agencies of the Government.</p> <p>GeM aims to enhance transparency, efficiency and speed in public procurement.
