    <fulldesc>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;New Delhi, Feb 6 (KNN) &lt;/strong&gt;The Gem &amp;amp; Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) in Gujarat has begun a week long training workshop on Diamond Grading in Surat.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;

&lt;p&gt;The programme is part of the ongoing Kaushalyam series of training workshops that are conducted every month for members of the trade on different skills associated with the industry.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
&lt;p&gt;Indian Diamond Institute (IDI) is the Knowledge Partner for the diamond grading workshop.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
&lt;p&gt;The sessions are being attended by 21 members from the gem and jewellery trade and will cover grading of rough and polished diamonds, understanding of the 4Cs, cut proportions and grades, various methods for estimation, scale of clarity, colour nomenclature, grading of loose and mounted diamonds etc.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
&lt;p&gt;In addition to the theory sessions, those attending the workshop are also given hands on practice in grading.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
