    <fulldesc>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;New Delhi, Feb 8 (KNN)&lt;/strong&gt; An expert panel has been constituted by the National Green Tribunal (NGT) in order to control the level of pollution in Yamuna.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;

&lt;p&gt;This panel constituted by NGT will ascertain the impact of steel pickling industries on the quality of air on the Yamuna.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
&lt;p&gt;Today, we are in a failure situation. We dont want useless and incompetent people, who have failed us, the people and the country, a bench, headed by the NGT Chairperson, had said.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
&lt;p&gt;The committee, comprises ofsenior scientists of NEERI and IIT-Kharagpur.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
&lt;p&gt;The matter will be heard on May 27, 2019 by the members of the committee.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
&lt;p&gt;Expressing dissatisfaction over the situation, the tribunal had directed the CEO of the Delhi Jal Board (DJB) to put in place a suitable officer who can ensure that work on the 14 STPs starts within a month and asked him to file an affidavit in this regard within two weeks.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
