ENA Sectors 2019-03-08 06:20:51 <p style="text-align:start"><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="color:#222222"><span style="background-color:#ffffff"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><strong><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">New Delhi, Mar 8 (KNN) </span></strong></span></span></span></span><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="color:#222222"><span style="background-color:#ffffff"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">The textiles ministry has amended hank yarn packaging norms whereby yarn packed for civil consumption in each quarter commencing from January-March should be less than 30 per cent of total yarn packed in each quarterly period for civil consumption.</span></span></span></span></p> <p style="text-align:start"><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="color:#222222"><span style="background-color:#ffffff"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">However, not less than 80% of the yarn required to be packed in hank form shall be of counts 80s and below, said Ministry of Textiles.</span></span></span></span></p> <p style="text-align:start"><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="color:#222222"><span style="background-color:#ffffff"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">Previously, this proportion was 40 per cent of the total yarn packed.
