ENA Global 2019-05-31 05:34:33 <p><strong>Chennai, May 31 (KNN)</strong> On World No Tobacco Day (WNTD), the Tamil Nadu Vanigar Sangangalin Peravai has requested traders not to sell tobacco products on May 31.</p> <p>Every year, on 31 May, the World Health Organization (WHO) and global partners celebrate WNTD.</p> <p>The annual campaign is an opportunity to raise awareness on the harmful and deadly effects of tobacco use and second-hand smoke exposure, and to discourage the use of tobacco in any form.</p> <p>Its State president T. Vellaiyan, said We have requested shops not to sell tobacco products for a day. We have distributed pamphlets to shops, and are also organizing awareness events such as human chain and street play on the occasion.</p> <p>While speaking to the reporters, Chairperson of Cancer Institute Adyar, V.
