    <fulldesc>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Hyderabad, Sept 16 (KNN) &lt;/strong&gt;The waste generated from electric products has become a huge challenge and to provide an insight into various aspects of e-waste management with respect to the current situation and future scenario, National Institute of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (ni-msme) is organizing a 3 day training program on E-waste management and recycling options for MSMEs.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;

&lt;p&gt;The program is scheduled to begin from September 18, 2019 at ni-msme campus, Yousufguda-Hyderabad.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
&lt;p&gt;The registration for the programme can be done through the website &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.nimsme.org&quot;&gt;www.nimsme.org&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
&lt;p&gt;The proposed workshop highlights the hazards of e-wastes, the need for its appropriate management and options that can be implemented.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
&lt;p&gt;E-wastes are considered dangerous, as certain components of some electronic products contain materials that are hazardous, depending on their condition and density. The hazardous content of these materials pose a threat to human health and environment.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
&lt;p&gt;These hazardous and other wastes pose a great threat to the human health and environment. The issue of proper management of wastes, therefore, is critical to the protection of livelihood, health and environment.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
&lt;p&gt;It constitutes a serious challenge to the modern societies and requires coordinated efforts to address it for achieving sustainable development.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
&lt;p&gt;The program will cover the broad range of topics including Introduction to e-waste management; Regulatory Framework &amp;amp; Compliance requirements; Composition of e-waste; Environmental &amp;amp; health issues; E-waste Collection System; Extended Producer Responsibility;  Recycling e-waste: practices &amp;amp; challenges;  Role of informal sector in e-Waste Management.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
&lt;p&gt;In addition, procedures for setting up e-waste recycling facilities; Environmentally Sound Management of e-waste; Approach towards effective Management Systems for e-waste and Case studies &amp;amp; Group Discussion will also be covered during the session.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
&lt;p&gt;The program shall include class room Sessions with Lectures/discussions, with audio visual aid; bench - marked video shows, Chalk &amp;amp; Talk sessions, group discussions, case studies, sharing of experiences, etc.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
