ENA Economy 2020-05-19 09:15:52 <p><strong>New Delhi, May 19 (KNN)</strong> The Commerce Ministry has allowed export of non-surgical and non-medical masks from India.</p> <p>The government had restricted export of all kinds of masks from India looking at the growing need of the product in the country due to Corona Virus widespread.</p> <p>The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has notified that all masks except non-surgical, non-medical masks of all types is now prohibited for exports.</p> <p>The non-surgical, non-medical masks made of cotton, wool, silk, knitted will however be allowed for exports.</p> <p>DGFT notification said, Notification...prohibiting the export of all types of masks, is amended to allow the export of non-medical/ non-surgical masks of all types (cotton, silk, wool, knitted). All other types of masks falling under any ITCHS code..., would continue to remain prohibited for exports.
