    <fulldesc>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Ludhiana, Sep 1 (KNN)&lt;/strong&gt; With a view to encourage women entrepreneurship ecosystem in the region, the Chamber of Industrial and Commercial Undertakings (CICU) in association with Deutsche Gesellschaft f&amp;uuml;r Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) on Tuesday conducted an awareness programme.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;

&lt;p&gt;The awareness programme named  Encouraging Women Entrepreneurship-MSME Schemes &amp;amp; Impact Stories  focused on Ministry of MSME schemes for Women Entrepreneurs.  &lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
&lt;p&gt;Gaurav Sharma, Technical Expert, GIZ talked about the working of GIZ for upgrading the industry and apprised the participants that CICU and GIZ jointly have established a cell called Innovation Facilitation Cell (IFC) to help the industry.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
&lt;p&gt;Atal Incubation Centre of Banasthali Vidyapith, Rajasthan also presented their work in promoting WEs and shared some unique success stories.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
&lt;p&gt;Later, GIZ representatives also apprised participants about Central Tool Room (CTR), Incubation and Entrepreneurship Development Cell (CIED) which is being supported under MSME INNO programme.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
&lt;p&gt;Mukesh Verma, Assistant Director, MSME-DI, Ludhiana elaborate the schemes of Ministry of MSME.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
&lt;p&gt;CICU president, Upkar Singh Ahuja, encouraged participants to apply with start-up ideas under the Atmanirbhar India Innovation Challenge.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
