ENA Sectors 2020-10-16 10:57:39 <p><strong>New Delhi, Oct 16 (KNN)</strong> The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has now allowed export of all alcohol-based hand sanitizers, including alcohol-based hand sanitizers in containers with dispenser pumps.</p> <p>The Ministry of Commerce has issued a notification to amend export policy of hand sanitizers.</p> <p>Export of Alcohol-based Hand Sanitizers in container with dispenser pumps is free for export. All Alcohol-based Hand Sanitizers exported in any other form/packaging are free for exports, with the immediate effect, the Ministry of Commerce stated in a notification dated 15.10.2020.</p> <p>It added that sanitizers are used as a disinfectant to prevent the spread of virus.</p> <p>On June 2, The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) banned export of alcohol-based hand sanitizers in containers with dispenser pump.
