ENA MSME 2020-10-22 08:21:12 <p><strong>Baramulla, Oct 22 (KNN)</strong> District Industries Centre (DIC) Baramulla on Thursday organised an online training programme for registration of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME) units on the Government e-Marketplace (GEM) portal here.</p> <p>Reportedly, the training programme was attended among others, by officials from DIC Baramulla, Tax Department and prominent MSME unit holders from district Baramulla.</p> <p>Detailed training about procedure of online GeM registration was imparted by the business facilitator GeM (J&amp;K) to the unit holders during the program.</p> <p>On the occasion, the organisers briefed the unit holders about the GeM portal and urged them to register themselves on GeM portal as this would enable them to become part of a national level platform to sell their products.</p> <p>GeM facilitates online procurement of common use Goods and Services required by various Government Departments/ Organizations and PSUs and also aims to enhance transparency, efficiency and speed in public procurement by providing e-bidding, reverse e-auction and demand aggregation.</p> <p>There were also discussions on matters related to Tax payment with officials from the Tax department.</p> <p><iframe frameborder="0" height="500" id="mgiframe" src="//mg.mgid.com/mghtml/framehtml/c/k/n/knnindia.co.in.338951.html" width="100%"></iframe></p> 25858 https://knnindia.co.in/news/newsdetails/msme/dic-baramulla-organises-online-training-programme-for-registration-of-msme-units-on-gem-portal 2020-10-22 08:21:12 knnindia.co.in
