ENA State 2021-04-19 08:01:23 <p><strong>New Delhi, Apr 19 (KNN)</strong> Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday announced a six-day lockdown in the Capital which will come into effect at 10 pm tonight and be in force till 5 am next Monday.</p> <p>After a meeting with Delhi Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal, CM Arvind Kejriwal addressed residents of Delhi today and announced a strict lockdown in the city which recorded over 25,000 COVID-19 cases on Sunday.</p> <p>''The city is grappling with the fourth wave of coronavirus. There will be a small lockdown in Delhi from 10 pm tonight. Essential services will continue. Marriage ceremonies will be allowed with a gathering of only 50 people, Kejriwal said during a press conference today.</p> <p>He further said that over the past few days Delhi has witnessed over 25,000 daily cases adding, ''Delhi recorded around 23,500 COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours.
