    <fulldesc>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;New Delhi, Jan 31 (KNN)&lt;/strong&gt; Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the Economic Survey 2021-22 today in the Parliament marking the beginning of the union budget session for 2022-23. &lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
&lt;p&gt;The Economic Survey is a report which gives a comprehensive look into the economic performance of our country through which it provides a roadmap for further development and is prepared by the Ministry of Finance. &lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
&lt;p&gt;This year the economic survey is expected to project a GDP growth of 9 per cent.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
&lt;p&gt;President Ram Nath Kovind will commence the budget session addressing the Parliament. &lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
&lt;p&gt;The Chief Economic Advisor (CEA) is responsible for the documentation of the economic survey, but due to absence of a CEA this year other senior officials were incharges in its preparation.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
&lt;p&gt;To fill up the position government appointed Dr Anantha Nageshwaran as the new CEA last week. &lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
&lt;p&gt;The economic survey is expected to fall in the same line as the union budget with its major focus on the healthcare sector. &lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
&lt;p&gt;Disinvestment aim of the target is also expected to be a chief area of focus.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
&lt;p&gt;Last years economic survey had released a GDP growth projection of 11 per cent. &lt;/p&gt;&#13;
