    <fulldesc>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;New Delhi, Feb 28 (KNN)&lt;/strong&gt; The union government has made it compulsory for exporters to file the Registration-cum-Membership Certificate (RCMC) applications through a common digital portal which is applicable since 1st April 2022 to help trading community with ease of doing business.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
&lt;p&gt;Exporters require a RCMC in order to avail benefits under the foreign trade policy.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
&lt;p&gt;With the certificate exporters can avail benefits with respect to customs and excise.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
&lt;p&gt;This was announced by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), the electronic platform to facilitate electronic issuance/renewal/amendment of RCMC/registration certificate (RC) has been implemented.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
&lt;p&gt;The objective of the platform is to provide an electronic, contact-less single window for RCMC/RC related processes.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
&lt;p&gt;All regional authorities have been requested to ensure that they are on board on eRCMC portal before 31st March, 2022. &lt;em&gt;&lt;strong&gt;(KNN Bureau)&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
