    <fulldesc>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;New Delhi, April 26 (KNN)&lt;/strong&gt; The Ministry of Commerce and Industries has identified 102 items with a share of 57.66 per cent in total import from March-August 2021 to explore domestic production opportunities.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;

&lt;p&gt;There are 18 common items out of these 102 items which have both high share and high growth rate.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
&lt;p&gt;To meet the domestic demand and generate employment opportunities, the Ministry has encouraged the Industry Associations, manufacturers to explore domestic capacity expansion in these 18 items.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
&lt;p&gt;Promoting the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyaan, the Department of Commerce has analyzed import items at HS 8 digit level and have categorized the items accordingly.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
&lt;p&gt;These 102 items have been consistent import growth drivers or have held consistently high share across long, medium and short terms.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
&lt;p&gt;The report has suggested to give emphasis on 18 common items which have been consistently growing and hold a significant share consistently across the long, medium and short terms.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
&lt;p&gt;Gold, natural gas, crude palm oil, parts of telephonic/telegraphic apparatus, crude soya-bean oil, waste and scrap of stainless steel etc. make up the list of 18 common items. &lt;em&gt;&lt;strong&gt;(KNN Bureau)&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
