ENA MSME 2022-08-02 06:35:19 <p><strong>Chandigarh, Aug 2 (KNN)</strong> During the financial year 2021-22 the highest number of new registrations were in the micro industries among the newly established MSMEs, said Bhanu Pratap Singh Verma, MoS MSME in the Lok Sabha on Monday.</p> <p>It was followed by small and medium enterprises and about 18.34 lakh MSMEs were established across the country during the last fiscal, providing over 1.16 crore jobs to people.</p> <p><strong><a href="https://bit.ly/3B9mZSj"><img alt="FOLLOW US on GOOGLE NEWS" src="https://knnindia.co.in//uploads/gallery/GoogleNews.jpg" style="border-style:solid; border-width:1px; height:95px; margin:1px; width:299px" /></a></strong></p> <p>Haryana had the highest number of new 66,767 MSMEs in the region, said the Minister.</p> <p>These new MSMEs helped in generating about 3.36 lakh jobs.</p> <p>The data is sourced from Udyam registration portal by the central government wherein information is based on the voluntary disclosure by the MSMEs.</p> <p>Punjab stood second in the region where 46,519 MSMEs were set up and gave job opportunities to almost 1.94 lakh people.</p> <p>In the hill state of Himachal Pradesh new MSMEs were recorded at 12,460 and provided jobs to 62,069 people.</p> <p>In the same period in UT Chandigarh total 2,657 MSMEs were established creating 12,042 jobs. <em><strong>(KNN Bureau)</strong></em></p> 30067 https://knnindia.co.in/news/newsdetails/msme/udyam-portal-records-highest-micro-industries-registration-in-fy22 2022-08-02 06:35:19 knnindia.co.in
