ENA State 2023-01-23 09:06:15 <p><span style="font-size:14px"><strong>Kunnamkulam, Jan 23 (KNN)</strong> With the aim to enhance employability of educated Kerala youth, a Community Skill Park was inaugurated at Kunnamkulam in Thrissur district on Sunday.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">The skill park was inaugurated by the R. Bindu, Minister for Higher Education and Social Justice.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px"><strong><a href="https://bit.ly/3B9mZSj"><img alt="FOLLOW US on GOOGLE NEWS" src="https://knnindia.co.in//uploads/gallery/GoogleNews.jpg" style="border-style:solid; border-width:1px; height:95px; margin:1px; width:299px" /></a></strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">The centre has been set up in association with the Additional Skill Acquisition Programme (ASAP) under the Higher Education department.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">Addressing the occasion, Bindu pointed out that the exclusive skill development centre will aim to impart necessary skills to the youth to increase their chances at securing jobs.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">The entrepreneurship of job aspirants will be developed by providing training according to their talents and interests. The government is arranging an atmosphere for youngsters, who have innovative ideas, to materialise their dreams, the Minister said.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">As per reports, in the initial phase, the centre will offer courses such as Certified Nursing Assistant; Advanced Diploma in Logistics Management, Fitness trainer and GST Using Tally.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">It will also provide courses on solar technician, Printing Technology and Automotive technology in the later phases.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">Even when women, who have higher education, are high in number, only a few enter into jobs. There is a gap between education and job skills. The government has introduced the skill development programme in association with ASAP to bridge the gap, she said.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">Bindu further pointed out that the digital workforce Management system, introduced by K-DISC (Kerala Development and Innovation Strategic Council) is a platform that connects job seekers, job providers and skill agencies.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">It is one of the 16 skill parks that has been set up in the State. Eram Technologies is the operating partner of the Community skill park. </span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">A.C.
