NI-MSME Hyderabad starts MBA MSME management course with ASBM University, Bhubaneswar

ENA MSME 2023-05-10 18:17:33 Hyderabad, May 10 (KNN) The National Institute for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (ni-msme), Hyderabad and ASBM University, Bhubaneswar jointly have developed a specialised MBA in MSME Management course which will start from the academic session of 2023. Addressing the media at Press club on Tuesday in Hyderabad Dr. Glory Swarupa, Director General, ni-msme said that this new MBA programme has been designed to meet the requirement of trained personnel in the growing MSME sector. <a href="https://bit.ly/3B9mZSj"><img alt="FOLLOW US on GOOGLE NEWS" src="https://knnindia.co.in//uploads/gallery/GoogleNews.jpg" style="border-style:solid; border-width:1px; height:95px; margin:1px; width:299px" /></a> This is first of its kind with a judicious blend of hands-on experience and exposure of MSME functioning in line with National Education Policy, 2020 which will be delivered by the apex institution NiMSME, Hyderabad and prestigious ASBM University, she added. Dr. Glory Swarupa also said that MSMEs currently employs around 50 million people accounting 8% of the countrys GDP, 45% of the manufacturing production, and 40% of the exports playing a prominent role in the development of the economy in coming days . Such enterprises will have a huge requirement of management personnel to run these organizations, she adddd. Briefing the details regarding the course during the press conference Prof. Biswajeet Pattanayak , President of ASBM University said that Any graduate with 50% of marks with a valid CAT/ XAT/ MAT/ ASBMU Entrance Test score can apply for admission to this programme. The selected students will be provided education loan under the Star Vidya National Scheme by Bank of India for which the Bank has already recognised ASBM University. Prof. Biswajeet Pattanayak also said that this course is a fully residential programme where students of this MBA-MSME programme will study their first-year courses (2 semesters) at ASBM University in Bhubaneswar and the second year (2 more semesters) at ni-msme in Hyderabad mastering their professional competency through expert classroom exposure and professional hands-on experience, he added. The course duration is two years, and the fees for the entire program amount is Rs 6,50,000 which includes tuition fee and residential fee. The entire fee can be paid in four interest free instalments.
