ENA Sectors 2023-06-28 16:03:56 <p><span style="font-size:14px"><strong>New Delhi, June 28 (KNN)</strong> The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) on Tuesday released total of 75 priority technology areas at the Anusandhan Chintan Shivir event in New Delhi.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">These technology areas are further divided into 404 technological categories which further spread out to 1295 current and future technology development tasks.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px"><strong><a href="https://bit.ly/3B9mZSj"><img alt="FOLLOW US on GOOGLE NEWS" src="https://knnindia.co.in//uploads/gallery/GoogleNews.jpg" style="border-style:solid; border-width:1px; height:95px; margin:1px; width:299px" /></a></strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">Aerodynamics, Autonomous Systems and Robotics, Biomedical Engineering &amp; Technologies, Electronic warfare, Firefighting are of the areas.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">The theme of the event was- Catalysing Defence R&amp;D within Industry &amp; Academia and it was organized to align industry and academia with DRDO for defence R&amp;D in critical technology areas.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">It was part of DRDOs initiative to foster industry and academia cooperation to develop new technologies to help DRDO establish an Aatmanirbhar Defence ecosystem.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">In his address, General Anil Chauhan, Chief of Defence Staff called the Anusandhaan Chintan Shivir a unique opportunity for industry and academia to collaborate and to develop new technologies that would make India defence ecosystem self-reliant which is the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">Other speakers at the event were Dr. Samir V.
