ENA State 2023-06-28 17:38:23 <p><span style="font-size:14px"><strong>Shimla, June 28 (KNN)</strong> Himachal Pradesh chief minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Tuesday informed that the state government will assist in setting up a venture capital fund, according to a report in TOI.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">With the aim to boost the information technology sector in Himachal Pradesh, the state government plans to assist in setting up a venture capital fund and encourage financial institutions to invest in emerging technologies and innovative business model, he said.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px"><strong><a href="https://bit.ly/3B9mZSj"><img alt="FOLLOW US on GOOGLE NEWS" src="https://knnindia.co.in//uploads/gallery/GoogleNews.jpg" style="border-style:solid; border-width:1px; height:95px; margin:1px; width:299px" /></a></strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">CM Sukhu said that his government also aims to promote the use of latest technologies such as drones, 5G, internet of things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI) tools, and entitlement-based benefit delivery by integrating multiple databases and creating an info-highway. </span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">Digital technologies have brought a revolution in the delivery of government services. In a move to accelerate the digital transformation of Himachal Pradesh, the government has approved renaming of department of information technology to department of digital technologies and governance, he said.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">The CM informed that the department will play a crucial role in implementing and managing various e-governance initiatives.
