It will see prominent business leaders, sustainability professionals, policymakers, NGOs, civil society organizations, academicians, and researchers to discuss and explore ways in which responsible business practices can lead to a more sustainable future for all, said the said the international agency. The program will spotlight the challenges faced by businesses in creating resilient and equitable value chains, the role of non-financial disclosures in driving sustainable development, and the readiness of the private sector and MSMEs in creating a stronger ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) enabling environment. Among the key themes that the discussions will touch upon are the importance of gender equality, environmental stewardship, and ethical business practices in driving positive social and environmental impacts, and health in accordance with international agreements and guidelines like the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.
