MSMEs Produced 55,000 Aerospace Components For Chandrayaan-3

ENA MSME 2023-08-24 12:51:54 New Delhi, Aug 24 (KNN) Bhubaneswar Tool Room under the Ministry of MSME manufactured about 54,000 aero-space components of 437 types for the Chandrayaan-3 mission, said Union Minister for MSME Narayan Rane on Wednesday. The Union Minister informed that IDEMI Mumbai, another institute under the Ministry, also played an important role in manufacturing of parts for Chandrayan-3. He said that the success of this mission will prove beneficial for India as well as for the whole world. From Charkha to Chandrayan, today the MSME sector is everywhere, playing a crucial role in increasing the production capacity of the country, he said. Thanking the scientists, he said that India's history in the space sector has been exceptional. MSME sector will surely play a crucial role in the space missions to be launched in the future as well, he added. With the missions success, India has become the first country to land a spacecraft in uncharted territory near the lunar south pole. India is the fourth country in history to complete a soft landing on the Moon after the United States, the Soviet Union and China.
