ENA Sectors 2023-10-16 16:32:53 <p><span style="font-size:14px"><strong>New Delhi, Oct 16 (KNN)</strong> During September 2023, Indian Textiles Exports registered a growth of 11.06% over the previous year while Apparel Exports registered de-growth of -11.23% during the same time period, as per a report by Confederation of Indian Textile Industry (CITI) released on Monday.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">However, as compared to September 2021, exports of both Textile and Apparel have declined by -23.02% and -27.27% respectively, revealed the analysis.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">Cumulative Exports of Textiles and Apparel during last month have registered a growth of 1.77% over previous year while it has declined by about -24.62% as compared to September 2021.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">From the period of April to September 2023, Indian Textiles Exports registered de-growth of -3.59% over the previous year while Apparel Exports registered de-growth of -15.36% during the same time period.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">Similarly, as compared to Apr-Sept21 the exports of Textile and Apparel have declined by 18.37% and 5.69% respectively.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">Cumulative Exports of Textiles and Apparel during Apr-Sep23 have registered a de-growth of -8.81% as compared to Apr-Sep22 while the same has declined by about -13.59% as compared to Apr-Sep21.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px"><em><strong>(KNN Bureau)</strong></em></span></p> 35163 https://knnindia.co.in/news/newsdetails/sectors/indian-textiles-exports-record-11-growth-but-apparel-exports-contract-by-11 2023-10-16 16:32:53 knnindia.co.in
