ENA State 2023-12-12 14:45:55 <p><span style="font-size:14px"><strong>Patna, Dec 12 (KNN)</strong> Industries Minister of Bihar Samir Kumar Mahaseth has once again raised the demand for special economic zone (ECZ) in the state right ahead of the state global investors summit.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">The Bihar Business Connect 2023 is scheduled to take place on 13-14 December, 2023 with an aim to attract investments and provide all possible help to industrialists to start business in Bihar.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">Talking to TOI ahead of the summit with an aim to woo big market players to set up industries in Bihar, he said the two-day meet will give the real picture of the state to the investors.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">He said an increase in investments would take Bihar to the list of top ten states in terms of industries. He said the governments stress would be on food processing, leather, textile, information technology among other sectors.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">As the Centre is celebrating 2023 as the International Year of Millets and 2024 as International Year of Makhana (fox nuts), we will tap the opportunity as 70 per cent of the makhana production is in Bihar. Makhana processing units will be given a push in the state.
