ENA Sectors 2024-01-08 14:45:02 <p><span style="font-size:14px"><strong>Dimapur, Jan 8 (KNN)</strong> The e-Shram portal, managed by the Ministry of Labour and Employment, which serves as a national database for unorganized sector workers and aims to provide them with various social security benefits recorded 22,29,44,437 registrations in India since August 2021, with 29,841 on January 6.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">Top states include Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, and Maharashtra. Primary sectors are agriculture, domestic work, construction, apparel, and miscellaneous.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">In the 18-40 age group, 59.46 per cent registered, 40-50 years accounted for 23.56 per cent, and above 50 years made up 16.81 per cent. Female registrations surpassed males at 52.98 per cent to 47.02 per cent.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">Nagaland saw 2,20,926 registrations, with the top sectors being agriculture, construction, miscellaneous, domestic work, and handicrafts.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">In Nagaland's workforce, 58.35 per cent were in the 18-40 age group, 24.58 per cent in 40-50 years, and 17.04 per cent above 50 years.
