ENA State 2024-06-13 17:20:08 <p><span style="font-size:14px"><strong>New Delhi, Jun 13 (KNN)</strong> State-owned construction firm NBCC (India) Limited has secured a Rs 100 crore contract from Oil India to build a centralised core repository with advanced laboratory facilities in Guwahati, Assam.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">The two companies signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Wednesday for the construction project. The MoU was signed by senior officials from both NBCC and Oil India.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">NBCC stated that they are also in advanced discussions with Oil India for undertaking additional works valued at around Rs 900 crore.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">These potential projects include construction of a hospital, group housing, guest house, and installation of solar rooftop panels in Assam.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">In recent months, NBCC has won several major contracts, including a Rs 700 crore project from Kochi Metro Rail Ltd for development in Kerala, a Rs 70 crore boys hostel for Hindu College in Delhi, and a Rs 9 crore office-cum-training institute for ICSI in Hyderabad.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">As a navratna public sector enterprise, NBCC is involved in project management consultancy and construction of housing, buildings, factories, and infrastructure projects across various sectors.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px"><em><strong>(KNN Bureau)</strong></em></span></p> 38199 https://knnindia.co.in/news/newsdetails/state/nbcc-wins-rs-100-crore-contract-from-oil-india-to-build-core-repository-in-guwahati 2024-06-13 17:20:08 knnindia.co.in
