Finance Minister Suresh Khanna unveiled plans to establish world-class convention centres in Lucknow and Varanasi, drawing inspiration from Delhi's Bharat Mandapam. These multipurpose halls will serve as a vital platform for MSMEs to showcase their products, driving industrial investment and providing a much-needed impetus to the sector, Khanna explained. The initiative is expected to significantly enhance MSME production in Uttar Pradesh. By replicating the success of the Bharat Mandapam, known for its state-of-the-art infrastructure and regular hosting of national and international trade fairs, the state aims to put its MSMEs on the global map.
