ENA Sectors 2024-07-10 16:18:31 <p><span style="font-size:14px"><strong>New Delhi, Jul 10 (KNN)</strong> The Confederation of Indian Textile Industry (CITI) and the Taiwan Textile Federation (TTF) have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance cooperation between their respective textile and clothing industries.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">The agreement was signed by CITI Chairman Rakesh Mehra and TTF Chairman James Kuo, marking a significant development in bilateral textile relations.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">The MOU outlines several key initiatives to bolster collaboration between the two organisations. These include actively promoting business activities in trade, investment, and technology cooperation, as well as providing platforms for constructive dialogue among their members to stimulate collaboration.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">The agreement also details plans for organising seminars, exhibitions, conferences, and engagements with policymakers, delegations, and trade promotion agencies.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">A critical aspect of the agreement is the facilitation of information exchange on policies and industry activities.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">Both CITI and TTF will work to disseminate information on trade and investment opportunities to foster greater economic synergy between India and Taiwan.
