ENA MSME 2024-07-18 15:28:17 <p><span style="font-size:14px"><strong>New Delhi, Jul 18 (KNN)</strong> Bharat Aluminium Company (BALCO), a subsidiary of Vedanta Limited, has announced an Expression of Interest (EOI) for the sale of fly ash to Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) engaged in ash-based product manufacturing.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">BALCO, operating a 0.57 MTPA aluminium smelter in Korba, Chhattisgarh, is offering approximately 0.30 Million Metric Tonnes of dry fly ash from its 2010 MW coal-based thermal power plant.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">This initiative aligns with various governmental directives aimed at environmentally friendly utilisation of industrial by-products.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">The EOI is open to MSEs with valid Consent to Operate from CPCB/SPCB or MSE registration for ash-based product manufacturing.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">Buyers must adhere to guidelines set by the Ministry of Power, MoEF&amp;CC, CECB, and other statutory authorities, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">The e-auction process has been carefully scheduled, with submission of documents set for July 16-20, 2024, followed by scrutiny on July 21, 2024.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">The E-Auction itself is slated for July 25, 2024, from 11:00 PM to 1:00 PM.
