ENA State 2024-12-10 14:32:38 <p><span style="font-size:14px"><strong>Bhopal, Dec 10 (KNN)</strong> Trident Group, a prominent textiles manufacturer based in Ludhiana, has unveiled plans to invest Rs 3,000 crore in Madhya Pradesh, potentially creating 3,000 new jobs in the state.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">Chairman Rajinder Gupta made the announcement during the Madhya Pradesh Regional Industry Conclave on Monday, highlighting the company's continued expansion and commitment to the region.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">The vertically integrated textile firm has been operating in Madhya Pradesh for several years, having previously invested Rs 5,000 crore in the state.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">Gupta emphasised the company's global reach, noting that its finished products are currently exported to 122 countries, with demand showing consistent growth.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">The upcoming investment is expected to increase Trident Group's workforce from 12,000 to over 15,000 employees.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">In his statement, Gupta underscored the company's holistic approach to industrial development.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">He emphasised their commitment to local economic integration, from cotton sourcing to final product manufacturing.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">The company also highlighted its focus on sustainability and social responsibility, with a particular emphasis on women's empowerment.
