ENA Sectors 2025-03-10 15:05:13 <p><span style="font-size:14px"><strong>Noida, Mar 10 (KNN)</strong> Uttar Pradesh is emerging as a key manufacturing hub, said Chief Secretary Manoj Kumar Singh during a significant corporate event in Greater Noida.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">The event marked the foundation stone laying of an air conditioner plant and the inauguration of an injection molding unit by Haier India, a leading home appliances multinational.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">The company is investing over Rs 1,000 crore between 2024 and 2028, creating approximately 3,500 jobs in the state.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">Speaking at the event, Singh highlighted the importance of such investments in strengthening Indias manufacturing ecosystem. Haiers growth indicates how global companies are partnering with the state to create business and job opportunities. This project will bring more employment and enhance Indias role in global manufacturing, he stated.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">The new AC manufacturing plant is expected to produce 2.5 million units annually, raising Haiers total production capacity to 4 million units.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">The companys newly launched injection molding unit will manufacture essential appliance components locally, reducing dependency on imports and boosting production efficiency.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">NS Satish, President of Haier Appliances India, emphasized the companys commitment to the governments Make in India initiative.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">Opening the injection molding unit and starting work on the new AC plant strengthens our commitment to manufacturing in India.
