ENA State 2025-03-18 16:14:23 <p><span style="font-size:14px"><strong>Chandigarh, Mar 18 (KNN) </strong>Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini presented the state budget for the fiscal year 2025-26 during Monday's session of the Haryana Assembly, announcing several measures to boost industrial development and improve infrastructure across the state.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">A key proposal in the budget is the new scheme offering financial assistance to small and medium industries for converting generators to clean, environment-friendly fuels and adopting retrofit emission control devices (RECD).</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">This initiative aims to help businesses comply with the standards set by the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM).</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">The budget reflects a strategic focus on strengthening industrial infrastructure, supporting start-ups, and promoting sustainable growth in Haryana.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">Additionally, the budget proposes the extension of the Haryana AatmaNirbhar Textile Policy, which was originally set to expire in 2025, until December 2026.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">Under the revised policy, the upper limit on the number of eligible projects will be removed, allowing broader participation fr0m industry stakeholders.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">To facilitate industrial expansion, the Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC) will start registering land demands on the e-Bhoomi portal in early 2025-26 for the development of 10 new Industrial Model Townships (IMTs), similar to IMT Kharkhoda.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">Farmers will have the option to participate under both the Land Pooling Policy and the Land Partnership Policy for these projects.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">In alignment with the Government of India's One District One Product initiative, the state government is implementing a One Block, One Product program under its Padma Niti framework.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">Three industrial clusters have already been approved in Jind, Ambala, and Karnal, with plans to fast-track approvals for 10 additional clusters in the next financial year.</span></p> <p><em><strong><span style="font-size:14px">(KNN Bureau)</span></strong></em></p> 41428 https://knnindia.co.in/news/newsdetails/state/haryana-budget-offers-financial-assistance-to-msmes-for-generators-retrofitting 2025-03-18 16:14:23 knnindia.co.in
