ENA Sectors 2025-04-07 16:45:55 <p><span style="font-size:14px"><strong>Gurgaon, Apr 7 (KNN) </strong>ACME Group has announced plans to achieve Rs 10,000 crore in revenue from its solar module and solar cell manufacturing business by 2030, as part of its broader strategy to diversify beyond renewable energy generation.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">In a company statement, ACME said the initiative aligns with its long-term vision of contributing to Indias clean energy goals while strengthening its presence in the solar equipment sector.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">The group has already invested Rs 230 crore to establish a solar module manufacturing facility in Jaipur, Rajasthan, with an annual capacity of 1.2 GW. The plant, recently commissioned, currently employs over 700 people.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">ACMEs new venture, under the entity ACME Renewable Equipment Manufacturing, will also see the establishment of a solar cell manufacturing unit.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">The company has been listed on the Ministry of New and Renewable Energys (MNRE) Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM), a key recognition that boosts its eligibility for government-backed projects and private contracts requiring certified modules.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">Chairman Manoj K Upadhyay said, Our strategic entry into the renewable equipment manufacturing business aligns seamlessly with the Make in India initiative. Our Jaipur facility enhances supply chain control and will help reduce the cost of renewable power.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">Indias solar module manufacturing capacity is projected to grow from 80 GW in 2025 to 125 GW by 2030.
