ENA State 2025-07-23 14:51:12 <p><span style="font-size:14px"><strong>Lucknow, July 23 (KNN)</strong> In a Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at Lok Bhawan on Tuesday, the Uttar Pradesh government approved key proposals aimed at boosting industrial growth and reshaping youth welfare initiatives.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">A significant decision was made to facilitate the expansion of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) and drone production in Noida. </span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">The Cabinet approved the sale of 4.62 hectares of land belonging to Parag Dairy to Rafe M Fiber, the company that has already established a UAV manufacturing unit in Sector 81, Noida. </span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">The land, under the jurisdiction of the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority, will be sold for Rs 101 crore.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">Rafe M Fiber has invested around Rs 800 crore in plant and machinery for the production of UAVs, engines, payloads, and related systems for use by the Indian Armed Forces and police. </span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">The expansion is expected to generate new employment opportunities, while the company will also provide an additional Rs 10 crore to Parag Dairy as part of the agreement.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">In another key move, the government has approved a policy shift under the Swami Vivekananda Youth Empowerment Scheme. </span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">Meritorious students will now receive free tablets instead of smartphones. </span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">The decision, aimed at enhancing educational utility, replaces a previously approved plan from January that allocated Rs 2,493 crore for the procurement of 25 lakh smartphones. </span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">The new allocation sets aside Rs 2,000 crore in the current fiscal year to provide tablets, each costing approximately Rs 12,456.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">Additionally, the Cabinet approved the allotment of 10 acres of land within the industrial authoritys jurisdiction for a new dairy plant. </span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">With the consent of the Pradesh Cooperative Dairy Federation (PCDF), a dairy facility with a four lakh litre daily processing capacity will be set up on the site.
