ENA State 2025-08-19 14:28:07 <p><span style="font-size:14px"><strong>Lucknow, Aug 19 (KNN)</strong> The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has issued a Letter of Intent (LoI) to Escorts Kubota Limited for the allotment of 190 acres in Sector 10, paving the way for the establishment of a state-of-the-art tractor manufacturing facility.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">The project, anchored by a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed with the Uttar Pradesh government on August 17, 2024, involves an investment commitment of Rs 4,500 crore and is expected to generate employment for around 4,000 people in phases.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">According to YEIDA officials, the proposed unit will be developed as a greenfield facility, designed to enhance manufacturing efficiency, product quality and cost competitiveness. </span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">In addition to tractor and commercial equipment production, Escorts Kubota also plans to establish shared services from India to support Kubotas global research and development initiatives.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">In the first phase, Escorts Kubota will invest Rs 2,000 crore to set up the tractor plant, a commercial equipment unit and supporting infrastructure.
