ENA Sectors 2025-08-27 17:04:36 <p><span style="font-size:14px"><strong>New Delhi, Aug 27 (KNN)</strong> India is in the final stages of developing its Carbon Capture, Utilisation, and Storage (CCUS) Mission roadmap, a key initiative to achieve net-zero emissions.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">Rajnath Ram, Adviser for Energy, Natural Resources &amp; Environment at NITI Aayog, emphasised the importance of CCUS in meeting climate goals during the 3rd Energy Summit of the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">The government aims to increase natural gas's share in the energy mix to 15% by 2030, requiring consumption to rise to approximately 180 200 billion cubic meters.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">Experts highlight three priorities to achieve this goal: securing long-term LNG supply contracts, ensuring affordability, and expanding domestic production through compressed biogas (CBG).
