ENA Global 2025-09-15 15:31:02 <p><span style="font-size:14px"><strong>New Delhi, Sep 15 (KNN)</strong> Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal inaugurated the 89th International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) General Meeting, held from 15 to 19 September at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. </span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">He highlighted that high-quality manufacturing standards help reduce costs, promote safety, encourage reusability and sustainability, and enhance Indias global competitiveness.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">The meeting brings together over 2,000 experts from more than 100 countries to discuss international standards aimed at fostering a sustainable, all-electric, and connected world. </span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">The event features Indias largest electrotechnical exhibition showcasing innovations in electric mobility, smart lighting, electronics, and IT manufacturing, providing a global networking platform for Indian start-ups.
