ENA State 2025-09-18 16:52:29 <p><span style="font-size:14px"><strong>Bengaluru, Sep 18 (KNN)</strong> Global aerospace and defence power systems company Rolls-Royce has inaugurated its newly expanded Global Capability and Innovation Centre in Bengaluru.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">The facility will host a significant portion of the companys global digital capabilities and enterprise services team, along with engineering teams supporting its Civil Aerospace and Defence businesses.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">The company stated that this centre is set to become its largest capability hub worldwide, offering support across its Civil, Defence and Power Systems divisions.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">The expansion also aligns with Rolls-Royces plan to double its sourcing from India over the next five years, aiming to accelerate the integration of Indian suppliers into its global supply chain.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">At the launch event, Helen McCabe, Chief Financial Officer of Rolls-Royce plc, emphasised Indias importance in the companys global growth journey.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">She said the centre reinforces Rolls-Royces long-term commitment to India, with a focus on building local capabilities, nurturing talent, and deepening partnerships.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">Our aim is to co-create solutions with our teams and partners and deliver greater value for customers in India and across the world, she noted.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">M.B. Patil, Government of Karnatakas Minister for Large &amp; Medium Industries and Infrastructure Development, highlighted Rolls-Royces legacy in India&mdash;from licensed engine production with Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) to supporting Indias armed forces and driving digital innovation from Bengaluru.
