ENA MSME 2025-09-29 16:56:09 <p><span style="font-size:14px"><strong>New Delhi, Sep 29 (KNN)</strong> Union Minister of MSME, Jitan Ram Manjhi, highlighted that micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) are vital drivers of employment and economic growth in India.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">Speaking at MSME Seva Parv-2025: Virasat se Vikas in Varanasi, he stressed the need to strengthen the MSME sector, not only to create jobs but also to empower communities and preserve traditional heritage.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">The three-day event, being held till September 30, aims to connect citizens, institutions, and artisans under the theme of service, development, and cultural pride.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">During the inauguration, Manjhi opened an exhibition with around 130 stalls, featuring locally crafted artisan products and traditional goods.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">Minister of State for MSME, Shobha Karandlaje, also addressed the gathering, calling MSMEs the backbone of Indias economy. She pointed out their role in boosting exports, contributing to GDP, and fostering entrepreneurship.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">She further emphasised the significance of government initiatives such as Udyam Registration, PMEGP (Prime Ministers Employment Generation Programme), CGTMSE, and the National SC/ST Hub, which provide entrepreneurs with training, toolkits, and easier access to financial support through bank loans.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">The event saw participation from more than 1,500 beneficiaries of MSME schemes.
