ENA Sectors 2025-10-07 16:28:06 <p><span style="font-size:14px"><strong>New Delhi, Oct 7 (KNN)</strong> The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has released its report titled Market Study on Artificial Intelligence and Competition, conducted through the Management Development Institute Society (MDIS). </span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">The study aims to understand the structure and dynamics of Artificial Intelligence (AI) markets, identify emerging and potential competition issues, and review existing and evolving regulatory frameworks governing AI systems.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">The study employed both primary and secondary research methods&mdash;including literature review, database analysis, stakeholder surveys, and structured interviews&mdash;to provide a comprehensive view of the AI ecosystem. </span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">It offers insights into market trends, sectoral applications, competition challenges within AI-driven industries, and related regulatory aspects.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">According to the report, the adoption of AI technologies in India is expanding rapidly across multiple sectors, reshaping business operations, market competition, and regulatory approaches. </span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">While AI holds significant promise for enhancing efficiency, innovation, and consumer experience, the study cautions that emerging issues could influence competition and limit the sectors full potential. </span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">It also reviews the evolution of AI-related legal and regulatory frameworks in India and other jurisdictions to address these challenges.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">To foster a competitive and inclusive AI ecosystem, the CCI has proposed several measures.
