ENA Sectors 2025-10-08 17:34:32 <p><span style="font-size:14px"><strong>Mumbai, Oct 8 (KNN)</strong> The National e-Governance Division (NeGD), under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), and National E-Governance Services Ltd (NeSL), an Information Utility regulated by the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI), have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance digital document management for businesses and government entities. </span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">The agreement was formalised during the Global Fintech Fest 2025 in Mumbai.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">The collaboration integrates NeGDs Entity Locker&mdash;a cloud-based platform under the DigiLocker initiative&mdash;with NeSLs Digital Document Execution (DDE) platform. </span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">This integration enables beneficiaries of electronic Bank Guarantees (e-BGs) to securely access digitally executed bank guarantees directly through their Entity Locker accounts. </span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">The initiative aims to promote faster, paperless, and legally compliant workflows, supporting Indias vision of enhanced digital governance and ease of doing business.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">The integration offers several key benefits, including secure and tamper-proof document management, rapid issuance and lifecycle management of e-BGs, cutting turnaround times from days to minutes, paperless processes that reduce environmental impact, and centralised verifiability of digital documents.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">J.L.
