Jaishankar and Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand, who is on an official two-day visit to India.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">The discussions resulted in several key decisions, including the early resumption of ministerial-level talks on trade and investment, the re-establishment of the Canada-India Ministerial Energy Dialogue to enhance cooperation on renewables and critical minerals, and the relaunch of the Joint Science and Technology Cooperation Committee. </span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">Additionally, Canadian AI companies and researchers will be encouraged to participate in Indias AI Impact Summit, scheduled for February 19 20, 2026.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">In the agriculture sector, both nations agreed to collaborate on developing stable and sustainable supply chains, improving agri-value chains through technological cooperation and best practices, enhancing nutritional security, promoting agri-waste recycling into energy and organic fertilisers, and advancing climate-resilient agriculture and food systems.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">The two countries also committed to renewing collaboration in higher education and research, with a focus on Artificial Intelligence, cybersecurity, and fintech.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">During her visit, Anand also met Prime Minister Modi.
