ENA State 2025-11-21 16:33:26 <p><span style="font-size:14px"><strong>Hyderabad, Nov 21 (KNN)</strong> Minister of State (I/C), Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), Jayant Chaudhary, inaugurated the Centre of Logistics Training for Excellence (COLTE) at the National Skill Training Institute (NSTI), Hyderabad, highlighting the need for a skilled workforce to keep pace with the sectors rapid growth.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">Indias logistics sector is entering a high-growth decade, powered by the National Logistics Policy, PM GatiShakti and unprecedented investments in multimodal infrastructure. But this transformation can only be sustained if we build a workforce that is as modern and future-ready as the systems we are creating, Chaudhary said.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">He added that centres such as the COLTE in Hyderabad represent the future of logistics skilling&mdash;driven by technology, shaped by industry needs, and closely aligned with real-world operations. As automation, digital supply chains, and new mobility models transform the sector, skilled professionals will be central to Indias competitiveness. </span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">He affirmed that the commitment remains strong: to equip lakhs of young Indians with the skills that will enhance efficiency, build resilience, and strengthen Indias position in the global logistics landscape.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">The new centre has been established by the Redington Foundation, CSR arm, Redington Limited, in partnership with the Logistics Sector Skill Council (LSC). </span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">It brings advanced training infrastructure to Telangana, including AR/VR-enabled simulation labs for truck driving, warehouse operations, and forklift management. The curriculum, co-developed with industry experts, integrates Industry 4.0 concepts and emerging supply chain technologies.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">Redington Ltd.s Global Chief Sustainability Officer, R.
