ENA Sectors 2025-11-27 18:04:35 <p><span style="font-size:14px"><strong>New Delhi, Nov 27 (KNN)</strong> The Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DOT), Department of Telecommunications (DoT), Ministry of Communications, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IITR) to set up a Centre of Excellence (CoE) on its campus.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">The CoE aims to accelerate indigenous research, innovation, and capacity building in advanced communication technologies, fostering collaboration between academia and industry for a self-reliant and technologically advanced India.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">The new CoE will focus on high-impact research in wireless communication, quantum technologies, cybersecurity, and AI-based applications.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">It is expected to drive joint research and prototype development in emerging domains such as 5G/6G, RF-Sub-THz integrated circuits, millimeter wave beamforming antennas, V2X communication, data-driven wireless systems, and energy-efficient telecom solutions.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">The centre will serve as a hub for start-ups, intellectual property creation, workshops, training programs, and ongoing knowledge exchange between C-DOT and IIT Roorkee.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">During the sixth A.K.
