ENA MSME 2025-12-11 17:31:48 <p><span style="font-size:14px"><strong>New Delhi, Dec 11 (KNN)</strong> The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) is scaling up multiple initiatives to strengthen export preparedness, global market access, and competitiveness among micro and small enterprises, Minister of State Shobha Karandlaje said in written reply to a question in the Lok Sabha.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">The Minister said that government is implementing the International Cooperation Scheme to support MSME participation in international exhibitions, fairs, buyer seller meets, and global workshops held in India. </span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">The scheme also provides assistance to first-time exporters for Registration-cum-Membership Certification (RCMC) with Export Promotion Councils (EPCs), export insurance premiums, and testing and quality certification. </span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">Between 2020 21 and 2024 25, a total of 1,361 MSMEs benefited from this support, enabling them to adapt to technological changes, shifting market demand, and emerging export opportunities.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">The Government has further approved the Export Promotion Mission (EPM) on 12 November 2025 to build a comprehensive and digitally driven export promotion framework. </span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">With an outlay of Rs. 25,060 crore for FY 2025 26 to FY 2030 31, the Mission will operate through two components: NIRYAT PROTSAHAN, focused on trade finance facilitation for MSME exporters, and NIRYAT DISHA, which will provide non-financial enablers such as export-compliance support, international branding assistance, logistics and warehousing support, participation in trade fairs, inland transport reimbursements, and export intelligence and capacity-building initiatives.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">To enhance productivity and competitiveness at the enterprise level, the Ministry is also advancing the Micro and Small Enterprises Cluster Development Programme (MSE-CDP). </span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">The programme supports the establishment of Common Facility Centres (CFCs), and the development or upgradation of industrial areas and flatted factory complexes. </span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">In the last five years, 190 projects&mdash;comprising 82 CFCs and 108 infrastructure development (ID), projects have been approved under the cluster development scheme.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">Recent trade data indicates a rise in the MSME sectors contribution to Indias merchandise exports, increasing from 45.74 per cent in 2023 24 to 48.55 per cent in 2024 25 in USD value terms, reflecting the sectors growing role in driving export performance</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px"><em><strong>(KNN Bureau)</strong></em></span></p> 44386 https://knnindia.co.in/news/newsdetails/msme/govt-expands-msme-export-support-through-new-schemes-digital-framework 2025-12-11 17:31:48 knnindia.co.in
