ENA Sectors 2025-12-30 13:06:35 <p><span style="font-size:14px"><strong>New Delhi, Dec 30 (KNN)</strong> Solar photovoltaic (PV) modules manufacturer GREW Solar on Tuesday said that it has secured a Rs 2,028.33 crore contract from NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NTPC REL) for the supply of high-efficiency solar PV modules.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">The solar PV modules aggregating about 1,464.5 MW would be supplied across multiple locations in Uttar Pradesh.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px"> The cumulative contract value stands at approximately Rs 2,028.33 crore, marking one of the largest module supply partnerships under NTPC RELs current renewable energy program, GREW Solar said in a release.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">The solar firm said that under the terms of the contract it will supply advanced, high-efficiency solar PV modules backed by robust quality standards and cutting-edge manufacturing technology for deployment across multiple sites.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px"> This project will play a pivotal role in supporting NTPC RELs renewable energy expansion, while advancing Indias long-term clean energy transition and decarbonisation objectives, it said.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">Commenting on the development, GREW Solar CEO and Director Vinay Thadani said, At GREW Solar, we see each project as more than a supply order, its a responsibility to power progress with integrity, precision, and purpose. With a strong national push toward self-reliant manufacturing and innovation-led solar solutions, we remain deeply committed to advancing the Atmanirbhar Bharat vision and strengthening Indias renewable ecosystem. </span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">Backed by the Chiripal Group, GREW Solar launched M10 modules of up to 550 Wp and commissioned 1.2 GW of PV module manufacturing at Dudu, Rajasthan in 2022. The company has since scaled its operational capacity to 3.0 GW.
