S. Murty, Director of IIT Hyderabad.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#13;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style=&quot;font-size:14px&quot;&gt;The partnership is aimed at advancing indigenous technologies in mineral processing and related domains. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#13;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style=&quot;font-size:14px&quot;&gt;As part of the collaboration, the two institutions will undertake joint research in areas such as iron ore beneficiation and agglomeration, green steelmaking technologies, alternative iron-making using domestic raw materials, and advanced modelling and simulation of mining and metallurgical processes. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#13;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style=&quot;font-size:14px&quot;&gt;The MoU also envisages research in the extraction of critical and rare earth minerals from primary and secondary sources to support mineral security and resource resilience.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#13;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style=&quot;font-size:14px&quot;&gt;In line with the ongoing digital transformation of the mining sector, the collaboration will extend to pilot initiatives and research in autonomous vehicle movement, artificial intelligence applications, Internet of Things (IoT)-enabled systems, Mining 4.0 frameworks, and drone-based surveying and monitoring technologies. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
