ENA MSME 2026-04-20 17:16:15 <p><span style="font-size:14px"><strong>Amaravati, Apr 20 (KNN)</strong> Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) has developed a roadmap to accelerate the adoption of advanced, energy-efficient technologies among micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Andhra Pradesh. </span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">The blueprint will be submitted to the state industries department and aligns with Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidus vision of leveraging technology for economic growth and sustainability.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">Similar initiatives implemented by EESL in states such as Gujarat, Maharashtra, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Karnataka have delivered energy savings of 20 30 per cent across industrial clusters. </span></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:14px">Targeting MSMEs for Decarbonisation</span></strong></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">Officials told TNN that the plan positions Andhra Pradesh as a key contributor to Indias industrial decarbonisation efforts, with a focus on transforming MSMEs&mdash;traditionally energy- and carbon-intensive&mdash;into more sustainable and competitive enterprises.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">It builds on EESLs flagship programmes such as UJALA, the Street Lighting National Programme, distributed solar solutions and smart metering.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">EESL, now acting as a national implementation agency, aims to support MSMEs in transitioning to low-carbon operations through both domestic programmes and international collaborations.</span></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:14px">Collaboration with State Government</span></strong></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">Successful implementation will depend on close coordination with the state government to identify industrial clusters, mobilise stakeholders and integrate the initiative with regional development strategies.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">EESL CEO Akhilesh Kumar Dixit said, This initiative marks a paradigm shift&mdash;from isolated interventions to a comprehensive MSME enablement model. </span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">State Industries Secretary N.
