&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style=&quot;font-size:14px&quot;&gt;Among key segments, ready-made garments (RMG) remained the largest contributor, with exports increasing by 2.9 per cent year-on-year to Rs 1,39,349.6 crore. Man-made yarn, fabrics and made-ups registered a growth of 3.6 per cent , while cotton yarn, fabrics, made-ups and handloom products saw marginal growth of 0.4 per cent .&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#13;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style=&quot;font-size:14px&quot;&gt;Handicrafts (excluding handmade carpets) emerged as the fastest-growing segment among major categories, registering a growth of 6.1 per cent  during the period.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#13;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style=&quot;font-size:14px&quot;&gt;Export growth was recorded across more than 120 destinations between April 2025 and February 2026, indicating broad-based expansion. Key markets showing notable growth included the UAE, UK, Germany, Spain, Japan, Egypt, Nigeria, Senegal and Sudan.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#13;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style=&quot;font-size:14px&quot;&gt;According to the Ministry of Textiles, the sector continued to receive policy support through export promotion measures such as the extension of the Rebate of State and Central Taxes and Levies (RoSCTL) Scheme and the RoDTEP Scheme beyond March 31, 2026.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#13;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style=&quot;font-size:14px&quot;&gt;The governments free trade agreement (FTA) initiatives during the year including agreements with EFTA, the UK, Oman, New Zealand and the European Union&amp;mdash;are expected to enhance market access, reduce tariff barriers and support integration into global value chains.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
