According to the minister, discussions focused on enhancing economic engagement, strengthening MSME partnerships, and increasing collaboration in sectors such as automobiles, infrastructure, pharmaceuticals, and advanced manufacturing, reported ANI. Piyush Goyal also highlighted the need to boost Indias exports and improve market access, stressing the importance of creating a more conducive business environment to support trade and investment between the two countries. Export Promotion Mission Review Aims To Boost Shipments The meeting also explored future opportunities under the India-Japan Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA), along with broader economic cooperation frameworks in the Indo-Pacific region. The minister said the discussions reaffirmed both countries commitment to strengthening the business ecosystem and identifying new avenues for collaboration. Separately, Piyush Goyal recently chaired a review meeting on the Export Promotion Mission to strengthen implementation mechanisms, improve stakeholder coordination, and enhance monitoring systems aimed at boosting Indias exports. The review also focused on increasing support for MSMEs, agricultural exports, and promoting Brand India, while improving execution at the ground level to accelerate export growth.
