ENA MSME 2026-05-11 15:03:35 <p><span style="font-size:14px"><strong>New Delhi, May 11 (KNN)</strong> With micro and small enterprises (MSEs) facing a double whammy of trade disruptions and rising input cost, they can avail benfits offered by various government schemes including Procurement and Marketing Support (PMS) scheme to partly ease the pressure.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">The PMS scheme run by MSME Ministry is aimed at improving market access, capacity building, and product promotion for micro and small enterprises.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px"><strong>Scheme Supports Trade Fair Participation </strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">Under the market access component, the scheme provides assistance to individual MSEs for participation in domestic and international trade fairs and exhibitions. </span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">It also supports the organisation of trade fairs and exhibitions by the Ministry, the Office of the Development Commissioner (MSME), and other government organisations. </span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">In addition, the scheme facilitates Vendor Development Programmes (VDPs) to help MSMEs connect with larger buyers and expand business opportunities.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px"><strong>Focus On Packaging, E-Commerce Adoption </strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">The capacity-building component focuses on improving competitiveness by supporting the adoption of modern packaging techniques, barcoding systems, and e-commerce platforms. </span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">The scheme also provides assistance for organising national workshops and seminars, both in physical and virtual formats, through the Ministry and the Office of the Development Commissioner (MSME).</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px"><strong>Financial Aid For GI Product Retail Outlets </strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">Another key feature of the scheme is the development of retail outlets, where financial support is provided for infrastructure creation to promote products with geographical indication (GI) tags.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">The scheme is applicable to both manufacturing and service sector MSEs that possess a valid Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Udyam Registration certificate.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px"><em><strong>(KNN Bureau)</strong></em></span></p> 46069 https://knnindia.co.in/news/newsdetails/msme/msmes-can-get-trade-fair-and-market-access-support-under-pms-scheme 2026-05-11 15:03:35 knnindia.co.in
